End of Camp

At the end of a great week of camp there are a lot of images and memories that stand out.

Games, games, games... we played "Mighty, Mighty", "Silent Football", "Rat-ah-tat", "Hula Launcher", "Nine Square" and many, many others. It was a lot of fun. However, the pastor is a bit sore.

The Bible studies looked at the question of who Jesus is. Each day, we looked at different "I am..." statements from the Gospels. "I am the bread of life", "I am the light of the world", "I am the resurrection and the life".

Worship at camp is always filled with great music, funny skits and meaningful sharing from the counselors. At our closing worship we sang, "Dance Like the Saved" and we danced around and around and around. It was a lot of fun.

The counselors and the support staff were great and we had a wonderful week at camp.

Thursday Afternoon

Yesterday was an incredible day. The entire camp went to the Turtle races. Everyone had a great time.

Afterward, there was volleyball carpet ball and foursquare being played. We also had a giant game of "Hula Launcher". Then the night finished with worship on the shore of the lake.

Monday Morning

We had a great drive up to camp yesterday. The drive was filled with pringles, beef jerky and doughnut holes (thank you to Emily's Grandmother). We stopped on the shore of Mille Lacs lake to take a picture by the giant Walleye. We also "Celebrated Emily" and we found that there were some very friendly drivers on the road along with us.

After dinner, the campers got settled into the their cabins and then we had a giant game of "Medic" (Calley and Hanna were both excellent medics). We closed the day with evening worship and then we headed back to our cabins.
